I LOVE broccoli. It’s healthy, tasty, & cheap, and it’s super easy to make! I love roasting broccoli in the oven or sautéing it on the stove, but when I’m in a pinch for time the microwave is my best friend!
To make this delicious broccoli simply follow these 4 easy steps:
- Cut the florets off the stem and wash thoroughly.
- Place in a microwave safe casserole dish with a 1/2 cup of water.
- Microwave covered for 4 minutes (stirring half way through).
- Drain the excess water and toss with butter, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and grated parmesan cheese (optional).
Healthy cooking doesn’t have to take long or taste bad. Just a small pat of butter adds a ton of flavor with minimal amounts of fat and calories.
