The instructions are pretty self explanatory -all you need is a piece of wood, nails, and a hammer. I chose a circular pine piece I found at Lowes for only $8. You can easily paint or stain the wood before you nail into it, but I chose a natural coffee stain (because I didn’t want to wait for stain & polyurethane to dry)!
To stain with coffee simply apply multiple coats with a paper towel, allowing the wood to dry for 10 minutes between each coat. After the wood is the color you’re looking for simply hammer in the nails in a grid pattern and arrange your thread.
